Set 27 years after the events of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), this slasher film follows a group of friends who become the target of a crazed hook-wielding murderer after killing someone in a car accident and hiding their crime.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy, and Sarah Michelle Gellar (from the first two films) reprise their roles. Boasting a 38 per cent critic score and a 69 per cent audience rating, this is the third movie in a dead franchise, which explains the negative reviews.

Critics have attacked the film for essentially remaking the first instalment in this series. In other words, if you somehow skipped the first two films, you may actually enjoy this sequel.

You can watch I Know What You Did Last Summer 2025 in cinemas today.

  1. Isn’t this the movie where you have 1 guy/girl masked chasing around 5 people, who can’t unite, and miraculously kills them one by one ?

Good movie if it is, reminds me of Uganda. Every Ugandan should go watch this and watch themselves being Ugandans and see how ridiculous “outsiders” see them.
