Over the weekend, Ugandan football lovers were treated to an unforgettable experience with The Guinness Matchday on Tour.
The two-day event started at Zoe grounds on October 7 and ended on Sunday. The much-anticipated Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton was postponed due to unfavourable weather, but football fans did not miss out on the weekend’s action.
A Matchday innovative football truck, equipped with a giant screen, delivered unforgettable moments from the Premier League. Mun G performed some of his songs including My Rules, Sente Zange, Sala Puleesa and Oli Wa Maanyi as the crowd gathered closer to the stage to dance and sing along. After years without seeing him perform at any event, Mun G proved his is still a crowd controller with his energy; the rapper delivered his best.

Azawi took centre stage, delivering a fiery performance that had the crowd buzzing. She opened with her hits Repeat It, 10 Over 10, Quinamino and Majje, and closed with fan-favourite Masavu.
