Church should just normalize polygamy to curb inherited dogma

We have ended up being hypocrites and ambidextrous Christians by vowing to do what we cannot do in continuity. Colonialists who smuggled in these strictest and undoable provisos managed to confuse our forefathers that polygamy was or is evil and we were also indoctrinated into such dogma and inherited hate speech by infection. 

If the whole retired archbishop of the Church of Uganda can be relieved of his duties because of cheating on his wife with a beddable married woman: if the whole senior city pastor can also get himself a pulchritudinous damsel among his flock: if catholic priests can sire children yet they are not supposed to as per the inherited colonial rules; then who are we the spiritually bankrupt believers to accept to be preached by spiritually strong, not to drink wine yet the preachers are drunkards?

Haaaa! We should look at the preachers of colonial rules preach fidelity at the altar and yet when they are not in their cussocks, they are cuckolding their flock’s women? Aya baasi.

After all these shameful unfoldings in our colonial shrines cum churches, it is important for the church to embrace customary marriages in order to avoid hiding in strictest Christianity provisos of vowing to do what is difficult!

We should normalize polygamy and the churches must recognize them not only at paying tithes but also at holy communion and other important church rituals.

Note that I am not inciting every man to be polygamous; even in Islamic marriages, you cannot be polygamous when you are unable to take care of and love your wives equally.

Customary marriage is legally recognized in Uganda under the law (Customary Marriages Act) as long as you register it as customary marriage.

We have many prominent Ugandans who are far from the madding crowd of colonial marriage rules and are doing well. Take an example of Hon. Mwesigwa Rukutana and the current chief justice of Uganda, Alfonso Owiny-Dollo. We should emulate them if we can manage to love and care for our wives equally! 

Church leaders should also be left out or discriminated against in the new normal of going customary because it does not make sense to be a pretender when the heart wants what it wants.
