Seoul, South Korea – Korea Telecom (KT) has unveiled a new customized service, ‘My Choice 2-Hour Data Free,’ which allows customers to enjoy unlimited mobile data for two hours per day at a time of their choosing.
During the selected two-hour window, subscribers can use data without any speed or capacity limits, making the offer particularly attractive for activities like video streaming, online lectures, or mobile gaming, especially during commuting hours.
The plan is priced at KRW 9,900 per month (approximately UGX 25,000). KT says the service is designed for consumers whose data consumption is typically concentrated in short, specific periods of the day.
According to KT’s big data analysis, more than 20 per cent of daily mobile data usage occurs during commuting times. By allowing users to allocate unlimited data to their peak hours, the company says the service promotes “rational consumption” and maximizes the value of data in daily life.
As part of a launch promotion, customers who subscribe before October 31, 2025, will enjoy the service at a discounted KRW 990 (about UGX 2,500) per month until December 31, 2025.
