This is not just another chatbot but an authoritative voice in the Christian tech space having been trained on the Bible and scriptures.
AI has been getting a lot of bad press recently with some of the leading religious and political leaders coming out to critique AI advancement like the Pope and US Senator Bernie Sanders.
These two came together to create what they call AI for Good (AfG), a campaign that ensures AI is used to uplift humanity ethically, spiritually and religiously.
Africa, and specifically Uganda, has lagged behind in the AI race mostly because of the lack of regulation and infrastructure like data centers needed to support these systems.
So ChristGPT proves that even when faced with these challenges, Ugandans are determined to rise up and create these systems that are essential in this new technological Revolution of AI.
The future looks bright for such innovations since that is where the world is heading too. When the Larry Paige’s and Tim Cook’s of the 90’s were creating the current billion-dollar companies today, they were frowned upon by people who couldn’t picture a world where every person can access Google or have an Apple Smartphone.
That being said, faith and technology are poised to intersect on ChristGPT. Having launched just a month ago, The Agent has over 20000 daily users and is still growing.
