Team Uganda captain and powerlifter Denis Mbazira and Peace Oroma were Team Uganda’s flag bearers during the opening ceremony of the Paralympics at Place de la Concorde, and the Champs-Elysees
The duo led a team of 11 including four athletes and their coaches, team leader Bbale Muhamadi, chief de mission Patrick Synole, and overall administrator Irene Nabisenke.
At least 4,400 athletes from 200 countries are taking part across 22 disciplines. Uganda entered four athletes in three disciplines
