The body of the former SC Villa vice-chairman technical Sam Tamale commonly known as Kapeera, will this evening, at 10pm, be flown into the country from the USA.
Tamale, who battled a long illness of diabetes, had relocated to America back in 2013 for treatment till the time of his death.
However, once Tamale’s body returns, it will be set on the path to its final resting place. According to Moses Matovu, the Afrigo band leader, Tamale’s body will be taken to his home in Kansanga for night vigil, where his friends and family can have a view of him for the final time.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow to pray for the soul of the late Tamale in Kansanga, where the deceased used to go for church service. He was born in 1948. He is survived by nine children.
He will be buried on Wednesday in Kyetume, Vvumba in Bulemeezi.
