A few weeks ago, Busitema University were five minutes away from causing a major upset in the Nile Special University Football League (UFL) when they led 3-2 at Makerere University’s home ground.
However, the hosts managed to equalize in the dying minutes, having already clawed back a 0-2 first half deficit.

Nonetheless, that result greatly boosted the confidence of Busitema and their coach Dorothy Namugenyi. Ahead of this afternoon’s clash against Uganda Christian University (UCU), she is convinced her side will take all the three points at the Busitema arena.
“We are facing the game with confidence after holding favourites Makerere in the opening game. The fact that we are at home further gives us an advantage,” she said.
Namugenyi is expected to stick with the players who started against Makerere University.
The two meetings between both teams have ended in draws. UCU started the 2017 campaign with a 2-2 draw against Kampala International University.
