The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (Ubos) has finalized arrangements for the release of completed survey results and census reports.

This has been communicated by Didacus Okoth, the Ubos spokesperson, while addressing the media at the Media Centre in Kampala.

“The public should be aware that the release calendar for completed surveys and censuses earlier communicated on March 3, 2026, has been revised,” he says.

“On the guidance of Dr Chris Mukiza, the Ubos executive director and chief statistician, we have resolved to realign the roadmap to ensure maximum attention from the public and to also create awareness.”

Under the new arrangement, releases will commence on April 9 when Ubos publishes data from the National Population and Housing Census 2024 Community Module – Volume 6.

“This data will be accessed on the Ubos Census portal, which is freely available to the public,” says Okoth.

On April 16, Ubos will release the Labour Market Survey Report 2025. On April 23, Ubos will unveil the National Human Resource (Manpower) Survey Report 2025. On April 30, Ubos will publicize the Uganda Aquaculture Census (UAC) Report 2025.

On May 7, Ubos will release the Uganda Harmonized Indicator (UHIS) Survey Reports, including Wave I & Wave II (2021 – 2024) and Wave III (2025). On May 14, Ubos will unveil the Baseline Education Census (BEC) Report 2025.

Lastly, on May 21, Ubos will release the Uganda Business Inquiry 2019/2020. The above reports will be uploaded on the UBOS website https://www.ubos.ora on the respective days of dissemination.

Since the start of the year, Ubos has released reports such as the Uganda Malaria Indicator (UMIS) Survey Report 2025, Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children (OVC) Census Monograph 2024 – Volume 4 and Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index (MPI) Census Monograph 2024 – Volume 5.
