Joseph Mugenyi

Joseph Mugenyi has been officially nominated as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Burahya County in Kabarole district.

Mugenyi secured victory in the party primaries with 23,513 votes, representing 50.6 per cent of the total ballots cast. His closest rival, Kabarole district LCV chairperson Richard Rwabuhinga, garnered 14,916 votes and has since declared he will run as an independent candidate.

Speaking to journalists at Fort Fun City shortly after his nomination, Mugenyi expressed gratitude to NRM members for their confidence in him, pledging to centre his campaign on youth empowerment and constituency development.

“This nomination is a call to serve,” he said. “We must give young people opportunities to thrive and ensure that development reaches every household in Burahya.”

  1. Ugandans, please, don’t join terrorist NRM & protect it with next useless fake elections, more so, Rwandese Museveni has already assured there will be no opposer to him!

So called opposition leaders who will go for next fake presidential election will only be protecting & ensuring Rwandese Museveni’s life time rule & ownership of Uganda!

Why are Ugandans still powerless tribally divided ruled when all they need is ONE of them as Common/National Leader & UNITY to stop Rwandese Museveni, then form the kind of governance they want?
