Mowzey was admitted at Case clinic in Kampala from where he was pronounced dead on Thursday morning. Details of the altercation remain scanty with some claiming that what started it all was Mowzey sprinkling whisky on patrons in the bar.
He was then reportedly thrown unto the floor by one of the bouncers in the bar, hitting his head in the process that caused bleeding in the brain. Postmortem results released by Mulago hospital indicate that the talented artist was hit on the head and his head got damaged.
The municipal has also withdrawn the license of the bar and directed that the place is kept under lock and key. Lutaya adds that any forceful opening of the bar will attract a fine of one million shillings.
