Hellraiser 2022 is the 11th film in a franchise that began in 1987. The series is based on The Hellbound Heart, a novella by Clive Barker. The movie has been surprisingly well-received, boasting a critic rating of 71 per cent and an audience score of 89 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.
I don’t like the Hellraiser movies. I have watched them all, and they are just gore porn. But I saw the trailer for this latest installment and it looked like a solid attempt at telling an engaging story.
The horror/thriller is now available on streaming services.
