The inaugural Uganda Dance Night that happened over the weekend at Kampala Serena hotel, delivered a vibrant showcase of music, dance and cultural diversity.

The event kicked off at 8pm with a lively band performance, setting the tone for the evening. Soon, a troupe of six dancers took to the stage, dazzling the audience in outfits inspired by the Ugandan flag.
They showcased Latin dance styles such as Bachata, Tango and Salsa, blending elegance and energy. Organized by Talent Africa, the event aimed not only to entertain but also to raise awareness about Down Syndrome, which is on the rise in Uganda.
Emphasizing inclusivity and diversity, the show also featured performers with conditions such as vitiligo and albinism, highlighting their talent and individuality on stage.
Professional dancer Valentino took centre stage alongside singer/ legislator Rachel Magoola and South African dancer Fischer, captivating the audience with a fusion of salsa, tango and bachata.
The night featured electrifying performances from the Ghetto Kids, Anne Kansiime and an impressive display of Latin dance styles by London-based coach Marius Iupue.
