Following the events of Age of Extinction, the hatred between humans and transformers is beyond repair. Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) tries to get his life back in order, but problems seem not to leave him alone.
He has to join hands with English literature professor Laura Haddock and Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), an English aristocrat who has had a history with the transformers.
They have to figure out the reasons why the transformers keep coming to earth. Their discoveries of the past would provide them with means of defending earth against Optimus Prime, who has been brainwashed and is leading the invasion of earth.
Directed by Micheal Bay, it features Mark Wahlberg (Pain & Gain), Anthony Hopkins (Westworld, Thor, Silence of the Lambs), Tyrese Gibson (The Fate of the Furious, Fast 5), Josh Duhamel (Transformers Dark of the Moon), Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) and John Turturro (Exodus: Gods and Kings).
