After a three-year break, the Woman singer will headline an ultimate picnic concert at the Kampala Serena hotel slated for May 7, 2022.
The princess from Tooro returns to the stage to hopefully reclaim her number one spot as Uganda’s top songstress.
While addressing the press recently at Guvnor, Kanyomozi said she chose to be part of the Baileys-sponsored picnic experience because it celebrates music.
She said: “Being someone who loves music, I am just honored. It is also exciting for me because I am just coming back from a very long break and that makes it really special for me to finally reconnect with my fans. I last performed in 2019. Music is my second love and I can’t wait to see my fans excited during this performance.”
Her first love is possibly the son she had two years ago – part of the reason for her long hiatus.
Kanyomozi shall be joined by celebrated jazz maestro Myko Ouma and his band, Black Roots Academy of Soul Band and others.
The May 7 show is expected to be hosted by comedian Patrick Idringi alias Salvado and Crystal Newman.
