Based on Frank Herbert’s book series, Dune: Part Two has a 97 per cent critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes after 144 reviews. Critics are calling it one of the greatest films of the last decade, on par with the likes of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings series.
I will be honest. The first film bored me to tears. But I will give the sequel a chance when it debuts in cinemas in a few days (March 1).
Apparently, Dune 2021 was the setup, and the sequel is the payoff. Hopefully, it meets the high expectations critics have set.
