Adong’s upcoming feature film Between Worlds scooped two awards – the DFM Talents Durban award and the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) award.
Both endorsements affirm her desire to direct the film whose script she wrote. The awards also qualify Adong’s project Between Worlds for the DFM 2021 pitch and finance forum and mentorships by IEFTA for her future film projects.
Adong is the artistic director at Silent Voices Uganda. This year’s edition of the Durban Film Mart was virtual due to the travel restrictions brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
