This change follows FICO’s acquisition by Pride Global, a dynamic Singapore-based multinational insurance and financial services group.
The new identity brings not only a fresh name but also a burst of vibrant energy and expanded capabilities, promising a brighter and more innovative future. The name “Mirai,” is inspired by the Japanese word for “future” or “new ray of hope,” perfectly captures the company’s renewed dedication to resilience, growth, and innovation.
Uganda is the first country within the group to embrace this exciting new identity, with further positive transformations anticipated across Africa and Asia. During the launch, Joseph Nsubuga, CEO of Mirai General Insurance, passionately emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence and progress.
