Remnant Identity Coalition born to foster church unity

The Remnant Identity Coalition, a new Christian faith umbrella organisation, has emerged.

The body comprising churches from all across the world was launched yesterday by Prophet Elvis Mbonye of Zoe Ministries, flanked by renowned evangelical ministers including pastor (Prof.) Simeon Kayiwa, Bishop Grivas Musisi, Bishop David Tomusange, Bishop Makumbi, and Pastor Irene Manjeri, among others.

In his remarks, Mbonye stated that the Remnant Identity Coalition “is much more than an organisation.”

It is a movement through which God will impact this generation.

“When we come together with the right mind, to see the advancement of the Kingdom for such a time as this, with a special agenda like the one that we have, then we know that things are going to happen differently,” he said.

He continued, “I have always believed, and I know you do too, that we are the leaders, not the followers.”

However, it has not been so in the years past. But it’s going to appear very evident in the times we are now. We are determined to make the truth from God a reality, a visible reality.”

The purpose of the new coalition is to pursue the headship of the church until it is the sole determinant of the global agendas, unlike the present scenario where the systems for this world are the ones calling the shots.

He emphasised that as the most influential organ in the world, the church has to be on top of everything, as foretold by Prophet Isaiah in the Bible, that in the last days the church shall be exalted above all other entities in the world.

Mbonye urged the thousands of pastors and bishops that graced the event to draw lessons from the 2020 pandemic, specifically why it found the church unprepared and how the church was relegated among the non-essential.

The church was unprepared for the pandemic, which is how I learnt of it. We are the head and not the tail; therefore, it is a contradiction for the tail to subjugate the head. That was one of the darkest moments in church history, where you find the churches were restricted from meeting physically.

Other people may make excuses why we had to resort to that kind of thing, but if you are what the scripture calls you, “God has reserved a remnant,” then you know that at no cost should the word of God be compromised. Those are the ones He called the remnants, and that is the Remnant Identity Coalition,” the prophet elaborated.

He cautioned that “Throughout the scriptures, there are those who, when the heat was turned on, bowed their knee to Baal, and they were subdued by the systems of this world. The remnant of God is the one who is awake even when it seems like everyone else is caving in to what the world is throwing at them. During that time, one thing that stood out, which we want to correct, is that no one out there really has our best interests at heart. That is why all over the world ministries were considered nonessential. If they call you non-essential during a time that matters, then don’t fool yourself; that is what they regard you to be. People enthrone and value things out there, but we know that a doctor is not more essential than a minister of God.”

He also warned the gathering of fellow ministers to hasten their footsteps, for the apparatus for the anti-christ is in the process of being constructed.

Specifically, Mbonye cautioned about Central Bank Digital Currencies, an agenda written of in Revelations 13. These developments are expected to put us at the forefront of the game. Some individuals in various ministries around the world are currently facing challenges as they implement the cashless financial system,” he revealed.

We need to be a “brother’s keeper,” strategise, cooperate, and create an environment to support each other. We are the light of the world. It’s upon us to create an environment where we thrive, where we are not on the defensive but on the offensive. But it just cannot happen if we are lacklustre. The time has come to hear the voice of God and rise, and the voice of God comes with power as well,” he reiterated.

This, Mbonye stated, is the purpose of the Remnant Identity Coalition: to work together to ascend on top so that even when the world changes, the church remains unaffected.
