The show has since been taken over by Tina Fierce, who has struggled to fit in Luswata’s big feet ever since the fearless broadcaster went off the scene for a long time.
She has not been seen anywhere in public happening spaces. Star Trail hears she has been abroad.
At the weekend, she was seen on a night out with friends she used to work with at Urban TV and Galaxy FM, and it was hard to recognize her. Is she reprising her rather abrasive role on TV? Let’s watch and wait.
Record TV launches Slave Isaura
Local TV station, Record TV has launched a new soap opera titled Slave Isaura in an effort to reinvigorate the TV channel.
It was launched at an event held at Golf Course hotel on Saturday evening.
According to Record TV managing director Ezekiel Motsoeneng, the soap is just one of the many exciting shows they are rolling out this year.
“Record TV Uganda has enjoyed glorious days but has also suffered heavy setbacks,” he noted.
“This marks our first steps towards a change. We hope our viewers can continue with us on this journey.”
Musician Angela Katatumba, who is also the acting Honorary Consul of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Uganda, was the guest of honor.
Shane Suban and Tatiana Donaldson in town
The first-ever model master class may be be a few days away but the facilitators are already in town.
Ugandan catwalk star Aamito ‘Queen’ Lagum has been doing charity work and the rest of the team from New York also arrived last week.
Photographer Shane Suban and makeup guru Tatiana Donaldson are in the country. They made an appearance at the launch of the Abryanz Style and Fashion awards last Thursday.
Tatiana is a top makeup artist based in New York and has worked with numerous magazines including Elle and has been part of numerous fashion campaigns including Michael Kor’s.
Shane is a renowned photographer and model scout. The model master class takes place on July 30 at The Square.
