Onduparaka fires head coach Bainomugisha

Arua-based Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC has sacked their head coach Vialli Bainomugisha.

Bainomugisha joined Onduparaka in July last year, replacing Livingstone Mbabazi. Onduparaka CEO Edison Sabasaba says the club decided to part ways with Bainomugisha due to recent poor results. The club is in 8th position on the UPL table with just 21 points.

He says that they had a lengthy discussion with the coach before mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.

For now, Sabasaba says the team will be managed by Abu Mubarak and Morrish Adiga as the club seeks to recruit another head coach. Farouk Salim Farouk, a fan of the club says much as the club was not very consistent in getting positive results, the club needed to give more time for Bainomugisha to develop his team which are relatively young and inexperienced.
