Kapchorwa man accused of sodomising 8-year-old boy arrested

Ronny Kiplangat has been arrested by police in Kapchorwa for allegedly sodomizing a minor.
Kiplangat, a resident of Barawa cell, Barawa Ward in Kapchorwa Municipality is accused of sodomizing an 8-year-old boy who is also a resident of Barawa cell.
Fredmark Chesang, the Sipi Region police spokesperson that the suspect was arrested on Tuesday evening, March 28, at his residence while in hiding.
"After receiving an intelligence report about his whereabouts, we were able to arrest him at his home where he was hiding, and he is currently behind bars at our CPS," said Chesang.
"The investigation is almost done, and we will present the suspect to court for trial," he added.
According to Chesang, on March 26 the suspect allegedly ambushed the child while he was heading home from the shop, dragged him to a dark spot, and committed the heinous act.
Felix Mashandich, chairperson of LC I Barawa cell has asked the police to speed up the investigation about the matter, so the suspect can appear in court for justice to be served. The victim is currently receiving treatment at Kapchorwa Main Hospital following ruptures in his rectal area.

Its very rampant in Uganda, thats why there is high percentage of teeenage pregancy compared to America that have high percentage of homosexuals. Grown up men have been having sex with children for generations and govt has done nothing about it. Shame!
It's a shame the grown ups have been defiling young girls, adding homos to the mix does not help things. I agree with u, it's a shame, but a double shame if the government allows the homosexuality vice to thrive unchecked.
