Police cordon off the shooting incident scene

An unknown assailant has shot dead a private security guard belonging to SGA Security in Wobulenzi, Luwero district.

The assailant shot 20-year-old Leone Odongo several times at about 12.30 pm today Wednesday at Advance Smart Microfinance in Modern Zone in Wobulenzi town. He also made off with his gun.

Moses Ssebalamu, the LC III chairperson of Wobulenzi, says that the assailant fled towards Wampamba zone before disappearing into the bushes.

Uganda People’s Defense Force soldiers have since teamed up with the police to hunt the attacker. Police have also cordoned off the scene to gather evidence of the attack.

Several security people have been gunned down in a similar manner and their guns stolen in recent months. However, this is the first attack that has taken place in broad daylight.

So what was the benefit of the bush war of Luweero triangle 40 years ago when the same inequities have come back to hunt these very provinces.

Bizeemu? Are there no lessons that are ever going to be learnt by Africans that making and winning very brutal wars do not benefit anyone at all?

But kasede I think you have my point upside down. In all the history of Buganda and its civil wars. To ask the Ganda people who housed these dodgy liberators in their homes is a good question to answer.

There was always that sort of provocation( doing something just to get a reaction). It certainly seems that is how civilization has always been built for ages on planet earth.

The point still stays that making wars that kill millions of people is of no benefit to anyone. Because at the end of the day, those who have provoked such wars, are destroyed in it as well!

It was the Acholi united with the Langi and Ankole tribes people who provoked the Ganda into immediate unnecessary civil wars of the 1960s just after the independence of this country!

Then they provoked another civil war against the Ganda tribes people by returning tyrant Dr. Obote into power in the 1980s. It is very clear nowadays who is provoking the Ganda tribes people into another unnecessary civil war!

So my friend kasede it is a very normal African culture and civilization at that, for the Ganda to attend to visitors who come to visit. Eradde, Maamu. But great grand parents of the African Ganda tribe do declare solemnly. Omugenyi bwakyala omugenyi akyaluka!
