"Towards midnight the police was notified that the sex game had started and we swung into action. We got the participants redhanded, they have been arrested and detained at Kiira Division police station," said Onyango.

He says the suspects have been charged with disobedience of lawful orders and doing acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease including coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

"On charges of disobedience of lawful orders and doing acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease which is coronavirus. Their files are being prepared and will appear in court tomorrow," added Onyango.

Some of the photos from the party show half-dressed females and men partying with all kinds of drinks of tables. According to the posters for the sex party dubbed ‘Be Mine’, the entrance fee for VIP clients was Shs 50,000 and for the ordinary revellers Shs 30,000.

The poster also provided a phone contact for booking to attend the party. In leaked videos, some of the women are seen inviting men to come for a good time because there are so many women available. Some women are even seen in the bedroom displaying their genitals before the cameras as an incentive.

So what is the problem here? That some consenting adults were engaging in groupie sex in a private home?

The thought may be reprehensible to many of us. But it is not a crime. This is the participants personal business. Uganda does not need a sex police. Just as it does not need a thought police.

If police is about fighting covid, they should arrest the people who are exposing others in public places and taxis by refusing to wear masks.

Government has completely abandoned law abiding people in the struggle against Covid. Imagine traffic police also ignore non mask wearers. Am disappointed

I am in London, Ugandan like you.

Fellow Country Men and Women, COVID has gripped Europe and USA. People are dying here in droves. Please, please, desist from playing about with it or politicising it.
