Unidentified girl found dead in Naalya

Kira Division police is investigating circumstances under which a 12-year-old girl was killed and her body dumped in Naalya.

Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman, Luke Owoyesigyire, said the body of the girl suspected to be aged between 10 and 12 was found dumped at the Northern Bypass near Bethany high school in Naalya.

Owoyesigyire said police was notified by passers-by who saw the body. Police said the victim didn't have any identification document on her.

Owoyesigyire added that there were signs of struggle an indication that she could have been abducted from a different place, killed and dumped at the Northern Bypass.

The girl's body was taken to Mulago hospital morgue where a post-mortem was conducted. Owoyesigyire said homicide detectives from Kira Division have been assigned to trace for the possible killers.

Lets hope the homicide detectives will also trace for the next of kin of the poor soul.

In other words, in the image of the leadership (Mr. M7, his party NRM, Cabinet and MPs only fighting for themselves [Shauriyako]); the spate of cold-bloodiness and murder of innocent women and children, especially girls in this country, is heartbreaking and bewildering.
