Owoyesigyire says Naland’s lifelessly body was discovered by hotel staff when they checked his room and immediately notified police. Police retrieved the body and took it to Mulago hospital morgue for postmortem, which showed a blood clot in his lungs.
"Preliminary postmortem results show there was a clot in his lungs that caused difficulties in breathing," Owoyesigyire said.
Owoyesigyire said Naland arrived into the country on May 5 and was representing Mahindra Consulting Engineers.
"We have recovered Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage and recorded statements that will help us in investigations," Owoyesigyire said.
