Headless body dumped in Wakiso

A headless body of an unidentified man estimated to be aged between 30 and 40 years has been found dumped in a bush along Sentema road, between Nakabugo and Bukasa trading centres.

The body which had been stripped naked had its hands handcuffed to the front and laid down in the bush facing upwards.

Police was informed of the dumped body by pedestrians who were using the road and saw the body on Sunday. According to one of the scene of crime officers who talked on condition of anonymity, the deceased is believed to have been murdered, transported and dumped at the scene in the wee hours of the morning.

"Basing on the fresh blood found, the murder happened a few hours ago and given that there is no mess at the scene, the body was just dumped there," the officer said.

The Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire confirmed the incident saying "detectives have already began investigations."

The body has been taken to City Mortuary Mulago pending a post mortem..

t is a Wakiso Triangle, this time, isn't t.

In the earlier triangle, the Luweero one, they saved the heads for future display of the same.

That mentality may as well explain the "headlessness" of bodies that are dumped periodically in Wakiso.
