American tourist commits suicide at Entebbe zoo

An American tourist has committed suicide at the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center (UWEC) in Entebbe.

The body of Larkin Crow, 21, a resident of Texas was found hanging from belt around his neck on Thursday morning outside the dormitories near the restrooms.

Isaac Mujaasi, the marketing and public relations officer UWEC says that Larkin who had spent three days at the center had booked to stay at the centre for 18 days.

According to Mujaasi, prior to his stay at the center, Larkin was staying at Munyonyo. Luke Owoyesigire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson says police detectives are carrying out investigations.

In other words, is Uganda becoming a tourists suicide destination? Not long ago, a Swedish of Eritrean origin also committed suicide in Mbarara.

The Observer just reported about two Israeli couple, who in the dark; by taking a Matatu from Jinja to Kampala, were actually unconsciously on a suicide trip.

They find the body hanging and there an then they conclude to a suicide , he might as well have been murdered and then hanged and in any case

What comes first, Investigations or the actual cause of death ????

Thanks!

So many cases believed at first sight to be suicides have been proved, after investigations, to be murders so well organised & carried out!

Why not start with asking why an American would come to kill himself in Uganda & not just do so in his country, especially when he was here as tourists?

Why an American all of a sudden? Americans are on target for supporting Boby Wine.

Two days ago an American and a Canadian were deported senselessly. Now this case looks to be suspicious. M7 is willing to do what it can to retain power.

He recently said he will activate Luwero tactics of what he used while fighting in the bush.

As we know of course those are hit and run methods. Anyone who ties to support or talk against his government will be dealt with using Luwero methods.

Now the only solution is the people power to take away all the power he invested in himself.

Useless police! they cant even do the simple thing which is to determine the cause of death before investigations.

They right away declare it a suicide, then why take the body to mulago for postmortem?? These guys cannot even investigate a simple crime.

All murder cases have gone cold, they are busy chasing bobi wine, KB, Lukwago etc

Amin's days are back.

The difference is that M7 is more cunning than Amin.

The "tragedy circus just keeps on its merry- go-round" only here in Uganda and the actors are now foreigners.

I wonder what President Trump has got to say about this; he is always "very sharp on our shitholes" now here is proof that we are really a shithole of a place. Americans beware!
