Chinese national kills colleague over boiled egg

A Chinese national attached to WUSZ company, which is undertaking the construction of Kabale International Airport in Kabale village, Hoima district has died following a violent fight with a colleague over an egg.
Zhang Zhang breathed his last at Hoima regional hospital at 3pm on Tuesday where he had been rushed for treatment.

Deo Obura, the Albertine region police commander says the deceased was rushed to hospital after being assaulted by his workmate identified as, Zong Gap Lu, also a Chinese national on Tuesday morning.

The suspect reportedly picked a quarrel with the deceased at a quarrying site in Kabale accusing him of eating his boiled egg without his consent.

"It is said that a sharp knife was slit through the side of his ribs prompting a lot of bleeding...What I have to say about these Chinese is that; it seems fighting to them is a habit. In my four months here this last incident of yesterday [Tuesday] was the third. There was a similar one in Karuma where a Chinese again boxed one of the employees…then also a few weeks ago there was a similar incident where again another Chinese working within Hoima here also punched an employee. I think it is not a good thing, for us here assault is a very serious matter," said Obura.
Police has opened investigations under CRB 1243/2018. According to Obura and Zong will appear in court for murder once investigations are complete.

In other words, Zong Gap Lu can easily be one of careless death-raw convicts, used by the Chinese authority, as free/slave labor on construction sites in Africa; who unfortunatedly snapped and savaged his colleague over a boiled egg.

Otherwise, it is only under extreme circumstances and stress that a person can snap and slit someone's belly over a boiled egg or Shs.200.

This is just one of many other Chinese tragedies in Uganda/Africa.

Last year 2 young Chinese ladies were murdered in cold blood by their own, and dumped in an empty residential house down in Kikone/Makerere.

Poor souls to be murdered in a foreign land, is heartbreaking for their parents, friends and relatives!

You hit the nail on the head there Lakwena; it is a known fact that the Chinese government empties their prison cells and exports them to African countries to work out their prison terms.

This practice must stop and any worker Chinese worker coming to Uganda must be thoroughly vetted in future.

otherwise we are encumbered with criminal elements who will sabotage the country's projects. No wonder they are mainly involved in dubious smuggling activities. BUYER BEWARE!
