Award-winning standup comedian Patrick ‘Salvador’ Idringi will treat Ugandans to a steady supply of humour yet again as his star-studded Africa Laughs show returns next month.
First held in 2013, the feast of laughter will launch its fourth season on October 8, at the Kampala Serena hotel. The return of the event was announced during a press conference at Speke apartments recently.
“This is a new year and I am coming back with new and better material. There are lots of things that have happened last week that I can use as material,” said Salvador. “All I can say is come for the show.”
Salvador has over the years transformed into one of the biggest domestic and regional names in comedy.
Season 4 will feature Prof Hamo and Mc Jessy from Kenya, Kevin J from the United Kingdom, Basketmouth (Nigeria), Alfred Kainga (Zimbabwe), Eddie Kadi (Congo), and Arthur Nkusi (Rwanda).
The line-up will also include local comedians such as Daniel Omara, Prince Emma, Ronnie McVex, Agnes Akite and Madrat and Chiko.
