Movie review: Fifty Shades Freed wraps up popular trilogy


Following the events of Fifty Shades Darker, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) are now a married couple.

While trying to settle in her new life, Ana starts getting threatening messages from her former boss, Jack Hyde, who is in search for vengeance against Ana for having him fired from his job at Seattle Independent Publishing.

Christian has to deal with an old feud from his past as he struggles to accept being a first-time dad, a role he feels he is not ready to undertake. His temper threatens to wreak havoc on their marriage.

The romantic drama is directed by James Foley with directorial credit on films Perfect Stranger and The Corruptor.

Fifty Shades stars Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades Darker, Fifty Shades of Grey), Dakota Johnson (Need for Speed, Black Mass, How to Be Single), Max Martini (13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Sabotage, Pacific Rim) and Rita Ora.

The film premieres this Friday at Century Cinemax, Acacia mall.
