Nateete shopping centre opened

The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has called on Ugandans to work hard, open and grow new businesses for the country to prosper.

Mayiga was speaking at the launch of the Nateete shopping centre, which belongs to Ssalongo Mukasa Kasawuli of Samona Products.

“Buganda needs hardworking people like Ssalongo Kasawuli, who has defied all odds to become who he is today,” said the Katikkiro.

The centre has more than 120 shops. It will house banks, studios, restaurants, betting companies, supermarkets like Uchumi, bars and offices, all of which are expected to give Nateete a new look.

According to Kasawuli, the centre still has free space for those willing to do business within Nateete.

“Our rates are so friendly. We have enough parking and a very secure place,” he said.
