Dr Kaziimba applauded the couple for setting an example with this milestone in the times when marriage is under attack.

“God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve,” Kaziimba said.

They later hosted their guests for dinner at Serena hotel with President Museveni and First Lady Janet  Museveni as chief guests, who gave the couple 20 Friesian cows. The president thanked Mbabazi for his contribution to the country.

“Even when we had some differences with Ndugu Amama, I cannot forget the contribution he made in the past,” Museveni said.

Mbabazi thanked his guests and also appreciated his wife Jacqueline for sticking with him through the most difficult times of liberation as a young couple.
