MultiChoice to upgrade customers

Customers of DStv and GOtv are set to be locked on their screens after MultiChoice, the company that owns the two brands, offered its latest incentive of upgrading a fully paid customer to the next higher package free of charge.

The new package, the company announced, is one of its ways of ensuring its customers remain entertained and informed during this period of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Joan Semanda Kizza, the PR and communications manager for MultiChoice Uganda, in a statement, said this offer is a way of thanking their valued customers for their loyalty.

“It is our priority to put customers at the heart of everything we do, and in line with our mission to make great entertainment available; even during the most trying of times, we wanted to gift our valued customers by giving them a chance to experience a wider range of the quality content we carry on our other packages. This is our token of appreciation for their continued support.”

The campaign, dubbed Tweyanziza! and Mwebale Nnyo! is an almost 40 per cent discount in subscription pricing, MultiChoice said.

For DStv customers, the Tweyanziza! will apply to all active and disconnected Access, Family, Compact and Compact Plus customers who renew their subscription packages.

For GOtv customers, the Mwebale Nnyo! offer is available to Lite, Value and Plus customers.
