French envoy lauds local investment

Jules Armand Aniambossou, the French ambassador to Uganda, has praised government’s efforts to promote investment. He said this last Friday while commissioning the newly-refurbished Total Acacia service station in Kamwokya.

“I’m pleased to note that the government of Uganda has put in place conducive structures to encourage investment. France supports prosperity and this kind of development delights us,” he said.

Total acquired the Acacia service station Gapco flagship in 2018 before setting off the restoration process to meet its standards. The new state of the art station boasts Uganda’s first automated car wash where customers can have the exterior and interior of their vehicle cleaned in 20 minutes or less.

Total, a French conglomerate, now has 180 service stations countrywide.

Total is 1 company that brings billions to French government! So, it's not for Ugandans Ambassador Jules Armand Aniambossou is happy!

French tax, to which Total is major contributor, goes to; National Compulsory Education, Roads, Housing, Public & Social Services.!

Migrants camping in Paris were, as always, taken to clean shelters, given food/clothes/shoes/blankets/medical care... & it's tax money French government uses, so Total is ensuring France remains firm & the people well served!
