MultiChoice slashes DStv & GOtv Plus prices

MultiChoice Uganda has announced that DStv and GOtv Plus customers will now enjoy the new football season and quality entertainment for less from September 1.

The company will further reduce monthly subscription prices on DStv Premium, Compact+, Compact and Family as well as the GOtv Plus packages.

“These are tough economic times and as a company, we are constantly looking at various ways to thank customers for their ongoing support and loyalty at a price they can afford,” managing director Hassan Saleh said.

“The significant price-drop on various DStv bouquets and GOtv Plus is our way to demonstrate our commitment to ensuring our customers receive the best possible access to great entertainment at an outstanding value.”

Among the significant changes in the new price list, the monthly subscription for DStv Premium has dropped from Shs 280,000 to Shs 219,000 while that of DStv Compact Plus has reduced from Shs 180,000 to Shs 129,000.

Meanwhile, GOtv Plus has also been slashed from Shs 28,000 to Shs 26,000.

I have a best plan to benefit both viewers and Multichoice without commiting customers to high priced contract packages, gues whay: all DSTV customers will be able to enjoy Premium package at their own selected days.

Looks like I already said a lot, my plan may be stolen.

Please to hear about the slash of subscription fees of DSTV. in Uganda due to economic pressure there.

We the subscribers in Ghana would be happy to reactivate our subscriptions if the monthly fees are drastically reduced. Ghana's economy is worse than that of Uganda.
