SC Villa have gone top of the Azam Uganda Premier League table standing after a 1-0 win over arch-rivals Express FC on Friday.
The 'jogoos' as SC Villa is popularly known netted the lone goal through Alex Kitata after 88 minutes at the Masaka recreation ground. The win pushes Uganda's most decorated club to 25 points, one ahead of Police FC.
Struggling Express FC who have had a big turn over of coaches in the last one year remain in relegation danger as they sit third from the bottom of the log in 14th place.
