You can hold meetings in the new Mercedes Benz V-Class

The new full-size multi-purpose vehicle from Mercedes Benz van that was launched by Spear Motors Uganda last Friday sets benchmarks in this vehicle segment in design, comfort, versatility, efficiency and safety.

According to Geofrey Kyeyune, the Spears Motors Uganda sales executive, the van’s on-road price is about Shs 400 million. Kyeyune adds that with the highly-automated functionality of the van, customer experience is ultimate.

The vehicle boasts of an extensive range of new features that so far do not exist in any other vehicle in this segment.

It is equipped with crosswind and attention assists, a 360 degree camera, active parking assistance systems and a 7G-tronic, plus automatic transmission.

Its interior is spacious. It offers a wide variety of seat configuration in the rear, like individual seats and benches for about three passengers. Kyeyune says that with this space and designs, impromptu meetings can be conducted inside the car which can accommodate at least seven people.

“It has been tested on Ugandan roads, and we have got good feedback from the customers who are currently using it,” Kyeyune said, adding that the entire build-up suits the Ugandan roads.

The new V-Class is available with a cutting-edge turbo diesel. The 2.1 litre, four-cylinder engine has common rail direct injection and 163hp.

Offering value, efficiency and safety at the highest level, the vehicle addresses consumer groups that need a large amount of space, people with big families, those active in leisure time, and hotel operators who can use it as a shuttle.
