With just days left before Ronald Mugula’s scheduled Super Welterweight kickboxing fight at Kyaddondo rugby grounds, his would-be Thai opponent Valdet Gash has pulled out under unclear circumstances.

According to local kickboxing body UKF, Romanian Janos Elek has been lined up as replacement for the April 5 fight. Mugula confessed that he has been affected by Gash’s decision but he will continue with his training and will be ready.

Jonas is expected in the country next week and boasts of 45 wins [10KOs], 12 loss and 8 draws.

Meanwhile, middleweight Titus Tugume will battle Hungarian Szabo Tibor in a non-title fight at Agip Motel in Mbarara on Good Friday.
