Victoria University in free medical camp

Some 200 people have benefited from a free medical camp organized by Victoria University last week.

The medical camp saw patients testing for HIV/Aids, hepatitis B, syphilis and cancer, as well as receive reproductive health services. They also received nutrition information among others services.

The activity dubbed Victoria University health week was sponsored by the institution’s health faculty in collaboration with KCCA and guild students’ council, aimed at creating awareness about the study opportunities at the university, according to the students’ guild president, Peter Isiko.
